I got to know Andrew O'Hagan's writing through the London Review of Books. He is a writer who often starts from a position of a proper kind of disinterest, able to disconcert us and make us reassess our presumed certainties. In his short novel Mayflies, O'Hagan tells us about friendship, music, cancer, and euthanasia.

Further randomised controlled trials that cover different disease stages with pre-donation NAb measurements using locally applicable strategies are warranted.
